Want to exercise your brain, body, and balance? Do you love dancing but lack a partner (or a partner who likes to dance)? Then this class is for you! The music is a combination of Motown, jazz, R&B, contemporary pop, Latin, and a little disco…think danceable from the last 60 years. We typically do 11-12 dances in an hour, and steps are reviewed prior to each dance. The first class (Valentine’s Day) is a freebie to give you the general flavor, and the session will last through March 14th. All ages and levels welcome, but this will be geared towards newbies.

Laurie Reemsnyder has an Art Ed degree from Rhode Island School of Design, and has been teaching Photography since 1999, in Vallejo and at Marin Catholic. She started teaching line dancing at the MV Community Center in Jan. 2020, and during the pandemic, kept things going by dancing in the street with her original dance class. She expanded to Sausalito Recreation Center, and also frequently gets her photo students to dance. She has lived in Mill Valley for 40 years, has her own YouTube channel, and is rarely not moving!
