Spring: Beginning Ukulele (K-3rd)

Strum into the New Year and sign your kiddo up for this fun Ukulele course taught by local musician, Jimmi O. They’ll learn the names of the strings, practice keeping time to a steady beat and play and sing simple songs like Hot Cross Buns, Row Row Row Your Boat and You Are My Sunshine.

Jim Olmstead AKA Jimmi O is a graduate of the Musician’s institute (Hollywood CA) and a former teacher at the Blue Bear School of Music (San Francisco) and at Marin Horizon School (Mill Valley). Jimmi O makes learning fun and his teaching approach is the distillation of many years performing, songwriting and guiding students to easily play guitar and sing their favorite songs.

Please bring your own ukulele. Any ukulele will work - Jimmi recommends the ukuleles available for purchase at Bananas at Large
